John Smith has trained jointly with the Bricklayers Local No. 1 some one hundred twelve men to be quality union bricklayers in his career to date. He has been instrumental in starting a union mason training school in which he has six apprentices in its short two years' inception. He serves on Bricklayer and Laborer Apprentice committees.
